GATI – 2d animated film

My first ever attempt at a short film.
I had no idea how to draw or animate. So, in the 10 weeks that was given to me at RIT to come u with a short film, I decided to do a hand drawn animation of a guy dancing to a tune.
Many things posed a challenge here:
1) learning to draw
2) learning to animate
3) learning to dance… (I don’t dance at all. So visualizing a step in my head was very tough)
4) matching movements to beats
5) pipeline issues

Given a chance I would go back and make a lot of changes to this film. But I don’t think i will be doing anything crazy like that soon.
